My Journey in Culture, Art, Literature, and Fine Living.
Welcome. This is a very personal site. It is a place where I share my views, preferences and discoveries about culture, art, literature, and fine living. My journey began many, many years ago as a little girl in Medellin, Colombia and Ann Arbor, Michigan. I loved my maternal grandmother’s family history and account of her travels. My maternal grandfather’s pilot uniform and international allure. My paternal grandfather’s legendary life and death. My paternal grandmother’s closet with hats and gloves and all sorts of goodies. My mom’s high heels and jewelry box. My father’s hand made suits. The houses that we lived in. My father’s library and vinyl collection. I grew up in a rich environment of exceptional cuisine, country houses with horses, pools, tons of relatives, parties galore, music and dancing. Back then I embarked on this journey of exploration of all that the world has to offer, a journey that has taken me from exceptional heights to disheartening lows, always populated by style, creativity, reflection, and at times immesurable pain .
